The 40 Meter Net meets every night on 7.185 MHz at 6 pm Eastern Time. Nets are not held on Christmas Eve, during ARRL SSB Sweepstakes,\u00a0 ARRL DX Contest, and during ARRL Field Day weekend. Due to their nature, other contests may prevent the net from operating Pre-Net check-ins up to one hour in advance of net time. Net participants are encouraged to meet on 7.185 to secure and hold the frequency daily.<\/p>\r\n

After a two month trial, it was determined that opening a 20 Meter Net on a regular basis would put a strain on our NCS operators time.
